A new national study of 3,000 Americans by the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago will be the focus in mid-November of an invitation-only, post-election roundtable of columnists, political journalists, civic engagement and political science scholars.

MDI, in partnership with the Maryland Civic Education Coalition, the Do Good Institute, and the Office of Leadership & Community Service-Learning, is hosting high school students from the Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

COLLEGE PARK — With Maryland’s early voting period opening Oct. 24, the Philip Merrill College of Journalism’s Local News Network on Monday unveiled its 2024 voter guide for every school board election in the state.The University of Maryland’s Local News Network (@LNNMaryland on Twitter/X) — in partnership with Capital News Service and the university’s Maryland Democracy Initiative — surveyed all 109 candidates, 74 of whom responded.
