The Maryland Democracy Initiative and the College of Education are excited to co-sponsor Framing Election Discourse in the Classroom. This event is geared towards pre-service teachers and students, undergraduate or graduate, who might be interested in pursuing a career in education. As we approach election day, this event will provide support and resources for teaching about voting and elections, creating a classroom culture where students feel safe and heard, and for having difficult conversations in class, particularly after the election. Advance registration is required.
