Communications Lead Intern for the Maryland Democracy Initiative, College of Behavioral & Social Sciences

Linh Ngo (she/her) is a junior at the University of Maryland, pursuing a degree in Economics in the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences. She serves as the Communications Lead Intern for the Maryland Democracy Initiative (MDI), where she oversees communications strategy, manages outreach across digital platforms, and advances initiatives to strengthen civic education and engagement on campus. In this role, Linh develops and implements strategies to raise awareness around democratic participation, but also represents MDI as a student spokesperson, helping to connect peers to meaningful opportunities for involvement.

On campus, she serves as Vice President of Finance for the Asian American Student Union, is an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity, and contributes to the Student Alumni Leadership Council. Linh is passionate about civic engagement and the power of economics to shape a more just and equitable future.
